Ordered two sets of the Pro slides and hung 22 tubs. They were absoutely the n perfect answer to my storage situation in Florida. I screwed some extra 2x4 braces to help my OCD and off to the races. Figuring were the next set may go;)

Easy to install, saved space in our garage and help organize all our totes

So I finally got around to installing this and wow! It was easier than I thought it would be as I was able to install it by myself in about 2 hours. Once completed, it is rock solid. When you install this, just make sure everything is left loose until all parts are installed, then tighten everything. This allows for some adjustment in positioning.

This is a very clever product. The initial install of the main support required a drill to pilot the holes into the support wood. The screws attached into the ceiling with a lag bolt. Had to use a socket wrench to drive it in. Once the bars were attached to ceiling the cross bars were easily attached together with the bolts. The harder part was getting the bolt “clips” to slide into the channel and staying where I wanted it. Once there you tighten them with the socket wrench. The channels that hold the tubs (not included) can be whatever size you want. I made mine 3 channels with 2 turned sideways and 1 turned straight on. I bought 6 tubs but could easily hold 9 after lining them up there. This is a great way to clean up those boxes stacked around the floor of my garage and give me back space. Great idea! Highly recommend.

My wife and i are looking at doing a big organizing project in our shed for toys, supplies etc and before we put holes in our drywall, we decided to test this system on a small, temporary scale in our basement. We are not packrats but we hang on to things for a little longer than necessary. When we came across this system, we knew it might be perfect. Testing in the basement storage room was handy, close to our tools and with our 27 gallon totes that we store nearly everything in. This system was simple to assemble the runners but dealing with obstacles, that created the challenge. You really want to ensure great clearance with this system to take full advantage of it. The package came with a QR code to download directions and videos which i found very helpful. The u channel mounts to ceiling with supplied lag bolts but i am a fan of rugged structural lag screws and may use them in the joist as opposed to the lag screws. Mount the u channels per the directions and then i advised starting your mounting clips in the runners once assembled as they are easier to slide in. Once your one side is started, take the lid of the tote you plan to use as a spacer. Less weight and you will ensure adequate room for the container. Once aligned, tighten everything down and begin filling the track with your possessions. Be sure to know your limits with lifting above your head and also for the weight of your system. Not all ceilings are designed to hold significant amounts of weight! Refer to manufacturer specs for limits and spacing requirements! Happy hoarding!
