About this system
The Tote Slide™ is the original overhead tote storage system, invented in 2014 by the family that pioneered steel overhead garage storage in 1998. Slide it out, load your totes from below, and slide it back. Your gear rides safely on the ceiling and stays easy to reach.

It works with standard heavy-duty storage totes, including the common 27-gallon style bins. For the smoothest glide we recommend totes with a thick, reinforced lip, the kind found at any major hardware retailer.

Great Storage Hanger
So I finally got around to installing this and wow! It was easier than I thought it would be as I was able to install it by myself in about 2 hours. Once completed, it is rock solid. When you install this, just make sure everything is left loose until all parts are installed, then tighten everything. This allows for some adjustment in positioning.

Garage ceiling storage-Fabulous!
This is a very clever product. The initial install of the main support required a drill to pilot the holes into the support wood. The screws attached into the ceiling with a lag bolt. Had to use a socket wrench to drive it in. Once the bars were attached to ceiling the cross bars were easily attached together with the bolts. The harder part was getting the bolt “clips” to slide into the channel and staying where I wanted it. Once there you tighten them with the socket wrench. The channels that hold the tubs (not included) can be whatever size you want. I made mine 3 channels with 2 turned sideways and 1 turned straight on. I bought 6 tubs but could easily hold 9 after lining them up there. This is a great way to clean up those boxes stacked around the floor of my garage and give me back space. Great idea! Highly recommend.
