We are the family that founded the overhead garage storage industry in 1998. More than 7 million units sold, and we were once carried in every major retail store in the country. Today we take a different approach: we bring our newest systems straight to your doorstep.
We started this industry
In 1998, our family became the first to manufacture steel overhead garage storage. Over the next decade we sold more than 7 million units, and our products sat on the shelves of every large retail store in America. In 2008, after a decade at the top, we stepped away from the storage business.
Two ideas brought us back
We could not stay away for long. We came up with two products we knew the garage needed: the Tote Slide™ and the Storage Elevator™. Both were our original ideas, and both took years of development, prototyping, and refinement to get exactly right. In 2019 we returned to the industry we started and relaunched as CeilingSAM, this time with a new approach. Instead of selling through retail stores, we sell direct and ship straight to your doorstep, so you get the newest systems and a real one-on-one experience. Both products became a huge success.

How we build them
Every system is designed, cut, welded, and hand-assembled in Oregon. Heavy-gauge American steel. Grade 5 hardware on every bolt. Every weld and finish checked by the hands that built it before it ships to your garage.
