Will it fit my garage?
Yes! We offer two models: the Storage Lift and the Storage Lift Pro, designed to suit a wide range of garage sizes.
- Storage Lift (Standard): Requires only a 4’x4’ ceiling area — ideal for smaller garages or tighter spaces.
- Storage Lift Pro: Uses a 4’x7’ ceiling footprint and offers higher weight capacity.
General fit guidelines:
- A typical two-car garage can comfortably accommodate two standard lifts or two Pro lifts.
- Our systems are designed for ceiling heights of 8.5 ft or taller.
- Rule of thumb: One 4’x8’ storage area per car space.

Can I install it myself?
Absolutely! Our system was engineered for one-person, DIY installation. If you're even a little handy, you’re good to go.
- Installation time:
- DIYers: Around 2–3 hours
- Handyman: Around 1–2 hours
- Professional: Often under 1 hour

What tools do I need?
Here’s what you’ll want on hand:
- Ladder
- 18V (or higher) cordless drill
- Stud finder (we recommend StudBuddy, a magnetic finder)
- Safety glasses
- Tape measure
- Marking pencil
- Standard socket set
- 3/16” drill bit
- Level
- Rubber mallet (optional)
What’s included in the box?
Each kit includes:
- All hardware required to mount your system to the ceiling
- Preassembled components to simplify installation
- Your storage lift frame, designed based on your model (standard or Pro)
The only item not included is your drill — we assume you already own one!
How long does it take to install?
- Amateur installer: Up to 3 hours
- Handyman: Around 2 hours
- Experienced pro: Under 1 hour
The most time-consuming step is locating ceiling joists and securely mounting the ceiling brackets. After that, assembly is quick and intuitive.
Why no motor or Bluetooth app?
Because simple is better.
